The Bambu Lab H2S combines modern FDM printing technology with laser engraving, digital cutting, and pen plotting. Its build volume of 340 x 320 x 340 mm, active chamber heating up to 65 °C, and PMSM servo extruder deliver consistent quality—even during high-speed jobs at up to 1000 mm/s and 20,000 mm/s². * Information applies only during business hours Mon-Fri: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Whether functional prototypes, branding elements, or cutouts: The H2S is designed for 3D printing, laser cutting, and material cutting. The Flap-Switch Airflow System with G3 pre-filter, H12 HEPA, and activated carbon stabilizes the process air, supports high-temperature materials, and ensures clean surfaces for PLA/PETG. Supported materials include PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA, BVOH, ABS, ASA, PC, PA, PET, PPS, as well as CF/GF-reinforced variants (PLA, PETG, PA, PET, PC, ABS, ASA, PPA, PPS). The closed-loop process control with active filtration enhances dimensional accuracy and surface quality—even for larger components. The 10 W laser module (455 nm) engraves at speeds up to 400 mm/s with a spot size of approx. 0.03 x 0.14 mm and cuts materials such as poplar plywood up to 5 mm thick. Visual positioning (< 0.3 mm) and Micro-LiDAR (± 0.1 mm) assist with alignment. Safety features: Class 4 module; the entire device remains Class 1 when active protection is enabled—supplemented by flame and temperature monitoring, a door sensor, a safety key, and an air pump. Real Servo Motor Extruder (PMSM): High clamping force and precise control for constant material flow—even at high speeds. < 50 µm positioning accuracy (optional): The H2S is Vision Encoder-ready. The encoder (accessory) measures with high resolution and automatically compensates for drift. Full Filament Path AI Detection: 23 sensors and 3 cameras (Liveview, Toolhead, BirdsEye*) monitor the filament path and surroundings, detecting spaghetti errors and foreign objects early on. *BirdsEye is included in the Laser Edition or can be retrofitted via a laser upgrade. High-Temp Mode: The sealed chamber circulates heated, filtered air—ideal for ABS, ASA, PC, PA, and similar materials. This reduces warping and stress in large parts. Low-Temp Mode: Cool air flows in through the top vent, and exhaust air is filtered and expelled—perfect for PLA/PETG, fine overhangs, and clean surfaces without opening the doors. Cutting/Engraving Flow: The Top-Vent and filter-switch flap effectively exhaust fumes. Live Spatial Alignment, Air Assist, and the Laser Safety Window ensure clean edges and reproducible positioning. Safety architecture: A flame-retardant chamber, 5 flame sensors, door/lid sensors, and an emergency stop ensure controlled processes; temperature monitoring and laser safety logic round out the package. Acoustics: Optimized air ducts and Active Motor Noise Canceling enable quiet operation at < 50 dB (manufacturer’s specification). Compatible with AMS 2 Pro, AMS, and AMS HT. When used with an AMS, the H2S utilizes filament odometry, run-out, and tangle detection for greater process reliability.
