Bambu Lab H2C Combo 3D-Drucker

The Bambu Lab H2C takes professional FDM printing to a new level: its fully automated Vortek hotend swapping system, actively heated build chamber, and comprehensive sensor architecture enable precise, repeatable multi-material and multi-color printing with industrial efficiency. Designed for prototyping, model making, engineering, and additive small-batch production, the H2C combines high-resolution print quality with exceptional reliability and production-focused performance. * Information applies only during business hours Mon-Fri: 9am-5pm The Bambu Lab H2C enables true multi-material and multi-color 3D printing with up to seven materials in a single print job. Colors and material properties are combined directly within the part—without time-consuming post-processing and without manual filament changes. The system reduces purge processes to a minimum and significantly lowers filament consumption. Ideal for complex technical components, function-integrated prototypes, and high-quality design models in the areas of 3D printing, 3D scanning, and 3D consumables. The Vortek system is an inductively powered, completely contactless hotend swapping system. Instead of flushing material through purge cycles, the H2C swaps the entire hotend. This significantly reduces material consumption, color contamination, and changeover times—ideal for precise multi-material and multi-color 3D printing. This architecture enables crisp color boundaries, clean material changes, and stable processes—especially with engineering filaments, multi-color models, and function-integrated parts where the highest precision is required. The Bambu Lab H2C combines a rigid machine structure with adaptive, sensor-driven motion and extrusion control. Several precisely coordinated systems ensure controlled material feeding, consistent layer formation, and repeatable results—even at high print speeds and with complex geometries. The combination of these systems enables high-resolution, stable print results with sharp edges, uniform surfaces, and high dimensional accuracy—ideal for professional applications in engineering, prototyping, and additive small-batch manufacturing. With a maximum nozzle temperature of 350 °C and an actively heated chamber up to 65 °C, the H2C is consistently designed for technical filaments. Supported materials include, among others: The actively controlled chamber reduces warping, improves layer adhesion, and enables reliable printing of complex, high-load components. For use in office, laboratory, or production environments, the H2C is equipped with a multi-stage filtration system: Combined with the enclosed build chamber made from UL94 V-0 materials, this creates a safe, controlled environment for professional 3D printing with demanding filaments. The Bambu Lab H2C continuously monitors the printing process and reacts early to irregularities. This reduces failed prints and saves both time and material. Even without in-depth process knowledge, this allows stable, repeatable results in day-to-day operation. The H2C offers both convenient cloud connectivity and full offline operation—ideal for security-sensitive environments. Print jobs, firmware updates, and material profiles can be flexibly adapted to your infrastructure and security requirements. The H2C is aimed at professional users, development teams, service providers, and educational institutions that need high-quality, repeatable 3D printing results—including multi-material and multi-color applications. Whether functional prototypes, small series made from engineering plastics, or complex design parts: the Bambu Lab H2C combines high printing speed, precise motion control, and a powerful multi-material system into a production-ready 3D printing solution. The H2C AMS Combo or the Laser Full Combo includes a total of eight hotends and one AMS 2 Pro. On the right side there are four 0.4 mm induction hotends (one pre-installed, three in the accessories), complemented by a 0.2 mm and a 0.6 mm induction hotend. On the left side, two 0.4 mm standard hotends are included, one of which is already installed. While different flow variants with the same nozzle size are supported, using different nozzle diameters at the same time is currently not possible. From the factory, one AMS 2 Pro is included, supplying up to four right-side hotends. For fully automated 6-hotend swapping, the manufacturer proposes two expansion options: either an additional AMS 2 Pro plus an AMS HT (two AMS 2 Pro for the right, AMS HT for the left), or alternatively two AMS HT units that jointly supply the right side. A filament path switcher is announced for 2026, intended to enable full 6-hotend support with only two AMS units. The H2C Laser Edition can use both 10 W and 40 W laser modules and is compatible with the cutting module. The standard H2C model already supports cutting out of the box and can be expanded with a laser upgrade kit if required. Yes, the Vortek upgrade kit can technically bring an H2S or H2D up to H2C level. However, the conversion is quite demanding and time-consuming. Users who want to use Vortek features immediately should therefore choose the H2C directly. The upgrade kit is expected to become available in early 2026. Currently, this is not possible. The firmware does not yet allow combining different nozzle sizes—neither between the left and right hotend nor within the Vortek magazine. Mixing different flow types of the same size, for example 0.4 mm standard flow and 0.4 mm high flow, works without any issues. Due to the additional space required by the Vortek magazine, the H2C has a slightly smaller build plate than the H2D, which is why the build plates of both models are not interchangeable. Calibration plates (Vision), laser platforms, and cutting mats, however, can be used with all H2 models.
